Afganski Pomegranate (Bare Root)

Afganski' is a hardy Russian pomegranate prized for its consistent heavy production of large, sweet to slightly tart, dark red-skinned fruit.  The mature height is 12 to 15 feet, but is easy to keep smaller by pruning. Pomegranates require lots of sun and heat to bloom and fruit. Leaves will appear in late spring with blooms appearing in midsummer.  Harvest is September-October.  Best grown in zones 6-10.
