AVALON Pecan (Bare Root)

 Avalon was released by the University of Georgia in 2000. It  produces high yields of large nuts with a very good quality. They mature in early October.  It  has superior resistance to pecan scab making it a great choice for planting in the Southeast.  Avalon requires a Type I pollinator.  Suggestions: Caddo, Creek, and Pawnee.  Zones: 6-9
