Chojuro Asian Pear (bare root)

Chojuro is a popular variety known for its flavorful fruit.  The fruit is  yellow-brown russet and has a butterscotch-like flavor when tree-ripened. The white flesh is crisp and very juicy, making it a great choice for fresh eating. The fruit ripens in mid September and will store up to five months in the refrigerator.  Best grown in zones 5-8.  450-500 chill hours required.  (Suggested Pollinators: Bartlett, Shinko, Shinseiki, Korean Giant)
