CONTENDER Peach (2 Gallon Container)

  Contender peaches are cold-hardy and tolerate frost well, making them one of the few varieties that can grow in northern regions.  Fruit are large with red blush, firm yellow flesh, freestone, and blooms late. Ripens nine days before Elberta. Chilling requirement is 1050 hours.  Hardy is zones 5-9.  

***Is self-pollinating, but will produce a larger crop when planted near another variety.
