These plants are an early ripening variety from the University of Georgia. It is noted for its high yields, easy picking, and uniform appearance. It has large fruit, medium to light blue color, and a small, dry picking scar. Flowers appear in mid February and berries begin to ripen in late April to early May.  Hardy in zones 8-10 and requires 350 chill hours. Suziblue is self-fertile, but it is recommended to use a companion variety to enhance pollination and berry size. Suggested: Star, O'Neal, and Meadowlark.
