York Elderberry (3 Gallon Container)
The York Elderberry features white blooms in the spring, and soft, dark purple berries that are good for cooking
or making delicious jams in the summer. These easy-to-grow plants tolerate dry or
moist soils once they are established. Fruit is not affected by growing in
partial shade. They are cold hardy and fruit in mid August. They also make great wildlife attractants. Plant height is 6-8 feet.
**The York Elderberry is classified as self-pollinating, but planting another variety near-by ensures uniform pollination.
